Frieze Week 2025
George, London
During Frieze Week 2025, private members club George hosted an exclusive evening with Chris Levine.
Curated in collaboration with Katy Richfield Fine Art and Mumble Forum, George presented a new exhibition of Levine’s celebrated portraiture, including a pioneering lenticular portrait of Kate Moss, and a rendition of Levine’s iconic Lightness of Being. Portraits of David Shrigley and Daniel Lismore were also on display, marking the first anniversary of their unveiling at Frieze 2024.
The evening opened with an intimate in-conversation between Chris Levine, Katy Richfield, and Daniel Lismore — a thoughtful exchange between artist and subject that offered insight into Levine’s creative process and the collaborative nature of his portraiture. Levine also shared an exclusive preview of his forthcoming publication, Light: by Chris Levine, due for release later this month.
“In my career I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most inspiring personalities, some of whom were in the room tonight.
With my portraits, I always try to capture the inner light of my subjects — from the Queen and Kate Moss to Daniel Lismore. I’m excited to present a selection of portraits for a limited time at the beautiful George and unveil the latest in the Kate Moss series: a lenticular first of its kind, using a new 3D lens and a personal favourite in my body of work.” • Chris Levine
