Chris Levine’s seminal work Lightness of Being has raised $360k at the 27th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party.
The print, part of a highly sought-after experimental series created using fluorescent dye and diamond dust, was donated by Levine to EJAF. The auction, hosted by Sir Elton John and David Furnish, raised over $6.3 million in total to support the global effort to end AIDS.
