Studio Opening

London

On the occasion of this latest rehang at his London studio, Chris Levine has curated a selection of works, some of which will be made available to collectors for the first time.

Featured works draw from Levine’s extensive archive, spanning internationally acclaimed portraits to more recent pieces. A particular highlight is Stoned, recently featured in the Royal Academy Summer exhibition, for which the RA commissioned a poem inspired by the piece. The studio edit demonstrates the meditative and emotional power of Levine’s work.

The artist is currently developing further pieces born out of the lore of Stonehenge. A new series of prints will be released via English Heritage on the winter Equinox in December. It is widely believed, though little understood, that Stonehenge and other megalithic sites influence human consciousness at particular points in the cosmic calendar, with the stones amplifying the flux fields of earth energy to benefit those attuned to them.

Selected works can be viewed in person at the address below.
