On the occasion of the opening of his new exhibition at Museo Gran Via 15, Chris Levine has selected a group of works among which some will be exhibited for the very first time in Spain. The diversity of medium and subjects and his iconic use of light offer a unique sensorial experience and an opportunity to engage with the present moment.

From the internationally known portrait of Kate Moss to more recent installation pieces such as Geometry of Truth, the survey exhibition demonstrates the immersive and emotional power of Levine’s work. The exhibition also includes the sensational portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II presenting an utterly fresh depiction of the most famous woman in the world. The National Portrait Gallery stated it was the most evocative image of a royal by any artist.

With light and stillness at its core, his singular ideology pulls the viewer into a greater consciousness through art. A spiritual, meditative and philosophical edge permeates his work.
