Chris Levine’s She’s Light (Laser 3) has achieved £75,000 as part of Sotheby’s Erotic: Passion & Desire auction in February 2018.
The luminous lenticular portrait of Kate Moss, celebrated for its fusion of sensuality and transcendence, stood out as the highest-selling photographic work in the sale.
"There's a spirit in Kate that seems to have struck a chord with so many. To take her beauty and translate it into light as an image was what I set out to do. Given all the images that have ever been made of her, I needed to take it beyond beauty and somewhere deeper.
