Chris Levine

This artwork offers an alternative to Levine’s more common portraiture by presenting a scene of light with varying tones from a bright blue through to deep purple. It recalls the earliest forms of photography as a tool for light manipulation to present a final, abstract image. Reacting directly to the natural elements of light and colour, Levine’s “Modulation 1.6” is contemplative and beautiful.
